Here is a listing of the times and events that will be taking place at the 2012 Cedar River Rendezvous!

Friday

*8am-3pm School Kids Educational Day

*3pm-7pm Open to Public

*4pm Tomahawk Throwing Contest

*9pm or Dark Coon Hunting (tree only, no kill)

Saturday 7am-9pm Open to Public  

*10 am Land Trapping Demonstration

*11 am - 4 pm ( or when items are gone) Live Auction with Frank Fox Auction Company

*1 pm Kids Fishing Tournament

*5 pm Water Trapping Demonstrations

*7 pm until ? Powwow with Lakota Sioux

*9 pm or Dark Coon Hunting (tree only, no kill)

Sunday 7am-5pm Open to Public
*11 am Women's Skillet Throwing Tournament

*1 pm Trap Shooting Tournament (at Trap Range)

*2 pm Open Trap Throwing Tournament (at Trap Range)

*3 pm Flying Pig and Banjo Community Dance

Other Activities going on all day include:

National Guard Rock Climbing Wall, NIFC, Taxidermy Displays, Iowa Trappers Association Displays, Predator Calling, Fur Preparation, Trap Displays, Gun Displays, Honey and Maple Syrup Displays, DNR Displays, Archeology Displays, Woodcarving Displays, and Black Powder Display!

Other Events include:

BB Gun Shooting, .22 Rifle Shooting, Archery, Tomahawk Throwing, and Noodling (hand catching of fish)!

New info just learned: We are working on getting the Honey Queen to come out, and also, we may have someone who will be able to show us how to blow glass!
